BEING CONFIDENT IN PRAYER

“Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything

according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever

we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.” (I John

5:14-15, NKJV)

PONDER THIS!

What a powerful verse of scripture these verses are. We have the assurance that

whatever we ask of God, if our petitions are according the His will, God hears and

will answer our prayers. What a wonderful truth to know.

Yet, this is the powerful part of these verses. John says, “This is the confidence we

have in Him.” Which means, when we pray, we do not have to pray and wonder.

We do not have to pray and question whether or not God hears us or will answer

us. We can pray in confidence.

1. Do you know when you pray God’s Will, you can pray and begin rejoicing

because you know you are going to get what you ask?

2. Isn’t it wonderful to know whenever we pray what is already God’s will, we

know, “we have the petitions that we have asked of Him?”

3. So many pray “in hope” that they will receive what they pray for. We don’t

pray in hope. We pray in faith. Faith that what we ask will be granted because we

pray what we know is God’s Will.

Seek God’s will for your life today and pray His will. You can pray without

doubting when you pray His Will. You are assured of what you ask when you pray

His Will. You can pray and celebrate the arrival of what you are praying for before

you receive it when you pray His Will. Praying the Will of God is the key to

BEING CONFIDENT IN PRAYER.
