"Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them." (Mark 11:24, NKJV)
Of all that Jesus taught, faith was one of His principle subjects. This verse is loaded with the potential of promotion and prosperity. Jesus tells His followers, “whatever you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.” This is a powerful statement.
Notice Jesus does not tell us to “believe that you WILL receive . . .” Jesus is teaching us that our faith has to rise to the level of believing that we ALREADY HAVE RECEIVED, when we pray. Faith is not believing in what we want God to do. Faith believes that God HAS already done it.
What are you believing for? What have you been praying for? If you are praying according to His will and His word, believe that you already have it. Believe it is already done. Believe God has already given it. You do not have to wait until you have it in your hand or see it with your eyes before you thank and praise God for it. You can shout about it now. You can thank Him for it now. You can testify about it now. Go on and get your praise on. Go on and get your shout on. Others may not understand and may even call you crazy, but they don’t know like you know. You have prayed and you know it’s already yours. Just BELIEVE THAT YOU RECEIVE!
