BY FAITH

"By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that

the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible." (Hebrews

11:3, NKJV)

In the book of Hebrews, chapter eleven, from the New King James Version of the

Bible, the words, "By faith" appears nineteen times.

The writer of Hebrews tells us how all the powerful men and women of God lived

their lives and overcame great obstacles and opposition. The all did so, "By faith."

The writer wants to encourage us to live our lives also having faith in God. Verse

six of Hebrews eleven, in my opinion, sums up the whole chapter, "But without

faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He

is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him."

This is how you are going to make it through the day. This is how you are going to

overcome every obstacle. This is how you are going to be successful, graduate,

start your own business, lead your family, apply for that new position, and shame

the devil. And when people ask you how you made it, how you overcame, how

you prevailed, how you succeeded you will declare to them, "I made it, BY

FAITH.”
