HIS TRAIN FILLS THE TEMPLE

"In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple." (Isaiah 6:1, NKJV)

PONDER THIS!

The book of Isaiah, chapter six, is known as the prophet Isaiah's "call" experience. Isaiah expressed how he was privileged with the view of God in His heavenly majesty, sitting on His thrown in glory. Isaiah's view of God was one in which the train of His royal robe filled the temple of His thrown room.

Most of us are familiar with the train of a robe. It is the back portion of the robe that, in many cases, hangs down and sweeps across the floor symbolizing majesty and honor.

Well, at the time of Isaiah's writing, the king’s royal robe had a train also. The king’s train was actually made up of pieces or swatches of the royal robes of defeated kings. The conquering king would have portions of the defeated kings robe cut and sown into his own robe as a symbol and testimony of the conquerors strength and power. Isaiah looked at the train on God's robe and there were so many conquest until His robe, "filled the temple." Symbolizing He had defeated every enemy. WOW! What an amazing revelation.

1. Are you confronted with any opposition right now? Most of us are.

2. Do you know that God has already defeated everything that has, is or will stand against you?

3. Have you put your faith and trust totally in our victorious Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ?

4. Do you know, as one of my spiritual sons in the ministry once ministered, “Everything that is over your head is under His feet?”

This ought to encourage you today. Just knowing that your God and Father has defeated every enemy that comes against you. Every trial, tribulation and adverse situation has already been defeated. Whatever you are faced with today, just encourage yourself in this fact, “it has already been defeated.” God has already conquered every foe that stands against you. The battle has already been won. Just declare it by faith by saying, "HIS TRAIN FILLS THE TEMPLE!”
