STAY CONNECTED

“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears

much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing." (John 15:5, NKJV)

Jesus, as recorded in this verse, speaks these words to His disciples to remind them

that their blessings and productivity depends upon their abiding or staying in Him.

Jesus tells them, like the branches on a grape vine, they can only bear fruit if they

remain connected to Him. This is the truth for us today as well. We can only be

fruitful as we remain in the Lord Jesus.

No branch can live for long if it is disconnected from the tree or the main vine. If

the connection is broken, the branch loses the nourishment needed for its survival.

We too must remember that our survival is dependent upon our staying connected

to Jesus. Prayer time, Bible study time, time in both personal and collective

worship, are all means by which we remain connected to the Master.

Do not lose your connection with Jesus. Do not allow anything or anybody to

cause you to be separated from the Savior. Your entire existence depends upon

your union with Jesus. This is the abundant life He promised you. Do not drift

away or fall off. STAY CONNECTED.
