STRONG IN THE LORD

"Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might." (Ephesians 6:10, NKJV)

This familiar verse of scripture precedes Paul's admonishment to Christians that we will have to face hard opposition. Paul tells us that we will be in a wrestling match against the forces of evil that will try to destroy and kill us. Therefore, he encourages us and warns us that we must be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might, so that we are able to stand and be victorious.

This is God's word for you today. There will be many challenges and oppositions that you have to face, simply because you are children of God through Jesus the Christ. Only remember to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Rely on His might and His strength, to get you through. Do not try to face and fight the opposition on your own. Depend on the strength of the Lord. God is all-powerful. Because He is "ALL" powerful, whatever you are faced with cannot defeat Him. When you lean on His power, you too will always be victorious.

Remember, there will always be opposition. The enemy is on the attack.Yet, the victory is yours, if you remain STRONG IN THE LORD.
