"Who is this coming out of the wilderness, Like pillars of smoke, Perfumed with myrrh and frankincense, With all the merchant’s fragrant powders?" (Song of Solomon 3:6, NKJV)
This verse, from the book Song of Solomon, speaks of the procession of king Solomon as he rides into town with his royal embassy in his awesome gallantry. The speaker is encouraging the people to prepare themselves and go and see the splendor and greatness of the king as he enters into the city.
We too, need to prepare ourselves and know that "one greater than Solomon" is coming. His name is Jesus, He who is King of kings and Lord of lords. The good news and the blessing for each of us is that He is coming. He is coming to calm the storms of life. He is coming to heal your broken heart. He is coming to put the broken pieces of your life back together again. Whatever you need today, the King is coming.
Prepare yourself. Look for Him to show up in your life today. Expect His appearance and His favor. THE KING IS COMING!
