Waiting on My Change

. . . All the days of my hard service I will wait, Till my change comes.(Job 14:14, NKJV)

Most of us are familiar with the struggles of Job, how he lost his children and possessions all in one day. How on another day his health declined drastically. Yet, through all he went through he kept his faith and believed a change would eventually come.

You too must have the faith and tenacity of Job. Patiently wait on those troubling circumstances and situations to change in your favor. Remember and speak the words of that old church song, “I’m so glad, trouble don’t last always.” You must maintain hope for a better day. Keep the faith. Continue to praise and thank God no matter what. Many who know what you are going through may not understand it. But when they ask how you can smile in times of trouble, when they question of how you can praise in times of despair, boldly declare your faith by telling them, “I am WAITING ON MY CHANGE.
