"Though the fig tree may not blossom, Nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls— Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation." (Habakkuk 3:17-18 NKJV)
This hymn and declaration by the prophet ought to be the testimony of every born-again child of God. It is a declaration of faith and an act of love. What it says is "my praise is not contingent upon my circumstances. God is worthy of my praise in every circumstance." This is maturity. This is love.
Give the Lord a “yet praise” today. No matter what happens or how the enemy attacks, yet rejoice. Yet praise Him. Yet glorify Him. For you are mature enough to know that no matter what happens, He is worthy of the praise. In doing so you will defy the attempts of the enemy to break your faith, by rejoicing even in your time of lack or need. No matter what it looks like or how you feel, right now give the Lord a YET PRAISE.
