YOU WERE MADE TO PROSPER

"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers." (III John 1:2, NKJV)

Here is something that every child of God in Jesus Christ should know, poverty, need, and lack is not of God. If you are a child of God, these things should be foreign to your life. That's right, I said it. No child of God should be living with lack and need. Our savior came to give us "life and that more abundantly." As John tells us in this verse, you should prosper "in all things."

Now let me explain what I mean. Prosperity is not defined or limited to what we drive, what we wear, where we live or how much money we have. Prosperity is living the life that God ordained for us to live and living it to the fullest. Prosperity is living without worry, fear or anxiety. Prosperity is being in peace knowing that God will provide all your needs. Prosperity is knowing and living out your purpose regardless to how much money you make. There are many individuals, such as missionaries, who have given up many luxuries and great material wealth to answer the call of God to do ministry in both foreign and domestic lands. These individuals would tell you, though they gave up much and have very little in material wealth, they are wealthy in purpose. This is prosperity.

I pray for you today the prayer that John prayed for us all. I pray that you would "prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers." For YOU WERE MADE TO PROSPER.
